Facebook Unfriended Me

This post is so out of character for me but it's the only way for me to try and get my message out.

Facebook said for security purposes I needed to submit a photo of me for verification which I did. It said I could not log on to FB until my photo was verified. That was three days ago. How long does this take? Well apparently, for some it took 48 hours, others a week - or, how about six months! Good grief! I tried emailing them - with no response. It appears that there are no humans working at Facebook. At least none that cares about the average craft blogger who uses their platform to join other bloggers and crafters in groups and forums on their site. And the strange part is that I've never discussed politics or religion - I keep my opinions to myself because I don't want to hurt or offend anyone. My niece jokingly mentioned if it had anything to do with the Russians. Oh, I forgot that there is a woman in Russia who steals every craft tutorial that I publish - but that's another story!

Do you have any idea as to what "you won't be able to log in to Facebook means?" It means I have been completely eliminated or wiped out from all my family and friends. If we were "friends" see if you can find me. I checked my husband, son, sister and niece and I'm gone! Vanished! Eliminated!

This couldn't happen at a worse time. This is the holiday season and I have so many craft diys and link parties to post. Let alone all the craft blogging groups I belong to that get their messages out through Facebook's platform.

Sorry folks, please get in touch with me if you need to through email so I'll know what's going on in the groups I've joined.

This is so out of my control!
Thanks,

  1. This is terrible - I hope you get it sorted out quickly. I had problems with Bloglovin where they allow anyone to follow anyone and subsequently my blog was well liked by a porn website (from Russia) - you can well imagine the emails that I was receiving from them. BTW I contacted Bloglovin with the list of names and they did nothing about it.

  2. Thanks Kate! Unfortunately these powerhouse sites care nothing about goodwill for their participants!

    1. I know, and thanks, Cindy! I read that everything is basically digital on Facebook so getting in touch with humans is impossible. But I must say that I've communicated with a live person on Pinterest whenever I've had a problem so some sites do care.
