The colors are both brightening and calming at the same time.
I added faux pansies to a empty woven basket for this arrangement.
Pansies are perfect for providing color when the rest of the garden still looks like the gray days of winter. I found these lovelies at Walmart and couldn't resist. They signal spring has truly arrived, showing off beautiful shades of my favorite color, purple, and appearing to have smiling faces all over.
What a way to cheer up the garden!
So how do you decorate your front entry for spring?
Take
a little time to enjoy
Welcoming Spring!

ReplyDeleteThe basket of pansies is so welcoming at your door. Pansies are a winter flower here. I have pulled mine out of the containers. I am ready for some of the bright colors of summer annuals, but a freeze is coming tonight. I wish I had seen your pop-up pansies post before making my Easter cards. They are so cute.
ReplyDeleteAll your pansies are lovely and your entry is so welcoming. Thank you for sharing them and you cute pansy card at the party. Happy Easter! Blessings ~Deborah
ReplyDeleteYour entry is so warm looking. Love the basket and the flowers. If I did that at my place. I would have the deer at my door eating the flowers and most likely the basket. Ha ha. Happy Blessed Easter starting Friday.
ReplyDeleteHow do I decorate my porch for spring? I shovel the steps!
ReplyDeleteThe flowers are beautiful and I love the basket on your front door.
ReplyDeleteLove your pretty pansy basket on the door and the fresh pansies in the urns and pot. I just bought some, too. :)

My front porch still has snow on it, but I love yours Gail. Your flowers are so warm and welcoming. Just gorgeous! Love the basket on the door.
ReplyDeletePansies say spring to me. The basket on the door is perfect for spring. I had to remove my wreath because of the high winds and blizzard from earlier this week. Hopefully the weather moderates enough for Easter Sunday so I can put it back up.
ReplyDeleteLove your front door arrangement - what a great basket to display pretty pansies.
ReplyDeletelove this! perfect for any time of year. The pansies are always so happy to see you!
