Deer head silhouettes are still very popular - continuing to be very trendy and so is "anything plaid" this year. So why not combine the two to make a plaid deer silhouette on a slice of wood!
I'm almost too embarrassed to tell you how easy this project is. All I did was google "deer head outline pattern" and found one I liked. Then, I enlarged and printed out the image.
Next, I initially taped the image to the back of plaid wrapping paper, but then I thought it easier to cut out if I just glued the image to the wrapping paper using cement glue and that way I wouldn't have to worry about the image moving while cutting it out.
Keep in mind that the image will be reversed on the paper once cut out, but I don't think that's a problem with this one.
Next, glue the image onto the wood slice.
And then decorate with snow-tex, greenery and a bow.
See, I told you it was easy!
