It's Day 8 and we're sharing Holiday Cookie Recipes!
Christmas Peppermint Kisses Snowballs
What a fun holiday cookie treat with a surprise peppermint kiss inside! A great tasting Christmas cookie to try! Tastes like "Christmas" and is sure to be a hit!
Ingredients
-
1 C of butter, softened
-
3/4 C sugar
-
1 tsp of vanilla extract
-
2 C All purpose flour, sifted
-
Peppermint kisses - (8oz bag)
-
Confectioners' sugar/sprinkles
Instructions
-
In a large bowl combine the butter and sugar until fluffy
-
Add the vanilla and mix well
-
Add flour, mix well and roll into a log
-
Cover in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1/2
-
Preheat oven 350F
-
Remove from refrigerator and slice
-
Lay peppermint kiss in center, wrap dough around it, making sure the kiss is completely covered.

Place balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper
-
Bake at 350F for 10 to 12 minutes.

Cool slightly and remove from baking sheet

Roll them in powdered sugar while they're still warm.

Add colored sugar/sprinkles for holiday cookies
