You know how you have an itch to make something but aren't quite sure how to go about it? I've been wanting to make a very large wire butterfly using sheer fabric but wasn't quite sure how I could make one successfully. When I heard about Marty's Cloche Party, I thought this would be a good outlet to make a smaller version, and move on to a larger one if it turns out ok. This is what I did:
I used a small paint bottle and glue tube to shape the wire into a butterfly.
After spreading tacky glue all around the wire, I pressed the butterfly wire firmly on the fabric, put parchment paper over it and placed a heavy object on top for a few hours til dry.
I made two differently shaped sizes of wire butterflies.
Next I cut the material close to the wire and formed the body using double folded wire and beads.
For added decoration, I painted mod podge on smaller posterboard butterflies and smooth fabric over them til dry to cut out.
The beauty of the fabric wire butterflies doesn't show through in these photos of the cloches. I think they are rather pretty and would definitely be a show stopper if done bigger. Anything done in cloche is awesome!
Take a little time to enjoy,

I consider you ought to make conscious that this is not an excellent beginning cycle you'll find a lot more delicate and significantly less strong cycles to start with with are much better suited for folks just starting into this game. Too, don't try this in case you never have a PCT set up, or for that matter know what a PCT is.
